Four Pillars

Founded in 2013, in 2022, Four Pillars unveiled its newly expanded distillery, gin garden and hospitality experience, directly adjacent to its original home on Lilydale Road, Healesville in the heart of the Yarra Valley. The new space nearly triples the capacity for visitors at Four Pillars and includes an indoor/outdoor gin garden (Jude’s Gin Garden), multiple event and function areas, a stunning crafted copper bar plus a dedicated Four Pillars Gin Shop as well as new bottling line facilities, additional storage space, additional car parking and room for a new 2000L Carl still due to arrive later in 2022. The additional production and hospitality capacity cemented Four Pillars as the largest gin-focused distillery in Australia with a production capacity of more than one million bottles of gin a year and ability to host between 150-200,000 visitors annually. Four Pillars has been awarded International Gin Producer of the Year in 2019 and 2020 by the IWSC, and the World Gin Awards 2022 Icons of Gin Distiller of the Year and Brand Innovator of the Year.

Naught

Naught Distilling, relatively new to the drinks scene, launched in October of 2020, right in the middle of a Victorian lockdown. That didn’t stop the team from creating their dream bar and award winning gins. Since launching Naught’s Australian Dry Gin has been awarded 2021’s Champion New World/Contemporary Gin and Champion Victorian Gin from the Australian Distilled Spirits Awards, along with medals at the IWSC, and Hong Kong IWSC. Not a bad effort for a distillery that has less than 6 months of operation between lockdowns. This hidden gem is tucked away in leafy Eltham and certainly needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. A speakeasy inspired cocktail bar that exudes elegance and class, Naught focuses on letting their award winning gins shine through in cocktails. Apart from trying to make the best gins they can, their venue’s aim is to educate customers on the cocktails they serve and how their gins elevate cocktail drinking experiences.
